The Williams College IELTS Foundation course is for students at approximately Intermediate level who wish to combine practice for the IELTS exam with intensive language study in order to raise their language skills to the level required for an IELTS preparation course.
 
The course concentrates on the grammar and structures necessary for effective writing in English, as well as introducing students to exam-style tasks for the listening, reading and speaking components of the exam.

 Class Times
* 12pm-3pm (3 hours a day from Monday to Friday)
* Some classes may be available on weekends and evenings
    
 Start Dates Every Monday
    
 Duration * 12 weeks
    
 Course structure The course is structured to provide students with an introduction to the IELTS exam while improving their general language skills to a level enabling them to begin an IELTS preparation course.
    
 Assessment A full practice IELTS exam will be taken at the end of the course.
    
 Entry requirements
One of the following:

* Williams College General English (Pre-Intermediate level) certificate.
* Good pass in PET.
* IELTS score of 4-5+ (Academic) & 5.0+ (General).
