News:The UNIVERSITY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE comes to Williams

After a few months of negotiations and a visit from the University of Gloucestershire’s top academic people, Williams College has received some very good news. The University of Gloucestershire has accepted a proposal for Williams to work in partnership with the university and to run its degree programmes.

These programmes will include top up degrees in Business Management and Strategy, an MBA and an MSC in Accounting & Finance (which can be entered through doing an ACCA professional course) as well as all the courses presently offered at Williams College. The agreement gives Williams a particular close working relationship with the university which will benefit students who will now be able to study towards these degrees from October.

The Principal of Williams College Dr John Pomeroy had this to say about the new developments, “This is an important step in the academic life of Williams College and our partnership with Gloucestershire will still further enhance the range and quality of degree programmes that we are offering to our students.”

The lecturers, staff and students at the college were very happy to hear the news. Dagena from Russia said, “I am very happy about the news. Gloucestershire is a very good university so it is good for us.”

Those studying University of Sunderland courses can complete their studies with this university. Undergraduate students can switch over to Gloucestershire if they prefer. Students will be able to enrol with the University of Gloucestershire from the October intake.
