News: Fashion Design gets its Facelift

If you haven’t wandered around our Fashion Design Studio recently, it’s time you did! You will feel an excitement and creative energy there that will have you re-evaluating your course selection in no time. Complete with an Apple Mac, computers with CAD and other design programmes, 7 industrial sewing machines, 4 embroidery machines and 4 overlockers – you get the feeling that the department is serious about training up and coming designers.

Not only does the Fashion Design Studio feel professional but the Williams fashion lecturing staff have the work experience to ensure great results in their students. They are all educational specialists having taught at both MA and BA level at well known fashion design colleges such as Central St Martins, London College of Fashion and Ravensbourne.

They are also practicing fashion design professionals in all areas of the industry: Fashion and Fashion Accessory Design. Bespoke Clothing, Creative Pattern Cutting and Fashion Styling, having worked with many of the UK's leading fashion designers including: Betty Jackson, Nicol Fari, Ally Cappalino, Jasper Conran, Jimmy Choo and John Rocca. They all run their own freelance or fashion business as well as teaching at Williams College.
